Meeting Point for your Balloon Flight The Meeting Point for all our flights is RAYRIGG MEADOW Car Park - a Public Pay and Display Car Park with toilets designated PARK AND RIDE (SEASONAL) - approximately 1 mile north of the centre of Bowness on the A592 Rayrigg Road and beyond Rayrigg Motors and The Steamboat Museum. (Not to be confused with Rayrigg Road Car Park which is in Bowness itself.) |

| If using in-car satellite navigation the car park is located approximately 100 metres north of the Lakes Leisure, Windermere property at postcode LA23 2BP. Please turn into the clearly signed Public Car Park at the northern end of the beech hedge and try to avoid disturbance to the property by not turning round in its entrance. The Ordnance Survey Grid Reference is SD 4032 9849. |

Remember to allow sufficient time for your journey to ensure your punctual arrival as we cannot wait beyond check in time.
Your vehicle will be left at the car park and we will transport you to the launch site and return you after the flight. Family and friends are welcome to follow by car and will be briefed on directions and timing should they not wish to follow the whole flight. Our vehicles have sufficient seats to transport all those flying but we are unable to provide transport for non flying family, friends or pets! | |

From M6 Junction 36 If arriving from Carlisle and the North, Lancaster and Manchester in the South or Skipton and Yorkshire in the East via the A65, from J36 of the M6 take the A590 / A591 Kendal by-pass to Windermere - approximately 15 miles to Cooks Corner mini roundabout, located on the A591 beyond Windermere Station on your left and The Windermere Hotel on your right. Turn left and travel down the hill (A592) towards Bowness passing the Miller Howe Hotel. The car park is approximately ½ mile on right from the roundabout.

From Bowness The car park is on the left approximately 1 mile north from the mini roundabout in the centre of Bowness along Rayrigg Road (A592) past Rayrigg Motors and the Steamboat Museum heading towards Ambleside. Don't confuse with Rayrigg Road car park in Bowness between the roundabout and Rayrigg Motors.

From Keswick / Ambleside Continue along the A591 south through Troutbeck Bridge. Turn right at Cooks Corner mini roundabout and travel down the hill (A592) past the Miller Howe Hotel towards Bowness. The car park is approximately ½ mile on right from the roundabout.

From Penrith / Kirkstone After Kirkstone Pass continue on the A592 through Troutbeck and go straight across Cooks Corner mini roundabout. Travel down the hill (A592) towards Bowness and the car park is approximately ½ mile on right from the roundabout.
